On September 23rd, Rock the Burbs is bring the community together by offering both a Youth Talent Competition and Evening Live Music Event that supports the MACC Fund.
LIVE TALENT COMPETITION
The Live Talent Competition is available for individuals 18 years old and under. Performance categories include: singing, dancing and instrumental performances. Accepting all level of talent. Top performers will be awarded scholarships and opportunity to open for a national touring band. Registration available for individuals and groups.

Following the youth talent competition is an outdoor live music event. Featuring national touring bands, food trucks, local bands, brews and spirits for the adults and fun activities for the kids. Rock the Burbs is led by Kate Inglish and Brianna Gasper. Two lake country moms who are determined to inspire others and make the world a better place by supporting amazing charitable causes. Their backgrounds are event management and marketing. Like all other moms, they have crazy lives and know that they can’t conquer everything alone . They are backed by a team of a dozen remarkable women that together make Elevate. All the women on the team are passionate about giving back, supporting the local community and love live music!
Join us in celebration of the summer with a good ol’ Wisconsin BBQ. All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Jon Derynda Scholarship Fund at Oconomowoc High School.

Town of Brookfield, Wis. – Brookfield Corners, LLC today announced that CycleBar will bring its premium indoor cycling classes to the Center in Fall 2017. The latest announcement adds variety to the impressive lifestyle center’s already unique tenant mix.
“Adding CycleBar just a few weeks after the announcement of Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt demonstrates the momentum that continues to build at The Corners,” said Chelsea Roessler, marketing manager for The Corners of Brookfield. “CycleBar will be a significant addition to the community and specifically The Corners. Now whether you want to shop, dine, live, or even work out, The Corners has something for everyone.”
CycleBar is a national indoor cycling franchise. The studio at The Corners will offer a variety of upbeat and inspiring cycling exercise classes led by trained instructors, plus high-end amenities like complimentary shoes, water bottles, snacks and more. The Corners location will also feature the company’s signature CycleTheater workout room – a tiered theater with 55 custom bikes, two larger-than-life flat screen TVs, personal data monitors and state-of-the-art audio, video and lighting technology. The new studio at The Corners will be the second CycleBar location in Wisconsin, with another in Mequon.
The CycleBar studio will be located across from Von Maur and just west of lululemon.
The announcement comes as several other tenants at The Corners prepare for their summer openings. Lululemon will open on June 20, first-to-Wisconsin furniture store Arhaus will open on June 29, and Wisconsin’s first L.L.Bean store will celebrate its grand opening June 30-July 2.
