Conveniently located in the heart of the Lake Country Area (just three miles north of Hwy 16) in Merton, Wisconsin, Hush Little Lanie opened in early 2014 inside of the Amanda Pfeiffer Photography studio (www.amandapfeiffer.com) after Amanda was inspired by the birth of her daughter Delanie (Lanie!).
Delanie was photographed by her mom, Amanda Pfeiffer, for hundreds of online boutiques before she was even a year old! With every photo that Amanda posted on her photography Facebook page came the inquiries, “Where can I buy that adorable headband that Delanie is wearing?” and “Oh my goodness, can I buy that dress?!” Amanda saw this as an opportunity to connect the handmade cuteness made by stay-at-home-moms around the country, to her photography clients to enable them to outfit their kiddos for their photo sessions with Amanda!
Well, word quickly spread and in no time, expecting mommas-to-be were knocking on the studio door to shop while Amanda was in the middle of photographing new babies. It soon became apparent that moms in the Lake Country area were dying for a hands on, local baby and toddler boutique!
