Throughout the year Rose:Life Photography offers whimsical themed Sessions.
Different themes are available with premier locations & prop selection throughout the year on specific dates but individual sessions can be crafted from the Rose:Life Costume Collection or created custom for you from scratch. The whimsy of these images does not come from digital effects but location, costumes, and props. Creating not only art for your walls that captures your child’s wonder and imagination for a lifetime but an exciting magical experience for them to remember as well!

Portrait Sessions are built around each individual family and the things they love. Siblings under age 2 are welcome for family sessions once they are able to sit independently and four legged family members too! Sessions are available April-October and book at minimum about six weeks in advance.
All sessions are held on location. Sessions are available throughout the beautiful Lake Country Area and beyond. Choose from a wide variety of locations already discovered or suggest your own!

Capturing Childhood: a beginner DSLR Class
Tuesdays in July 6:45pm-8:15pm for 4 weeks from 7/7 through 7/28
In downtown Delafield, WI at Petite Pas Ballet School’s Studio
This class will cover the basics of using a DSLR Camera and the art of photography while focusing on things that come in handy when capturing photos of life with kids.
Class will take place both in the studio and out. Class is scheduled to take place during “Magic Hour” (the hour before sunset) and the class will include time learning and shooting outside at Cushing Park and around beautiful downtown Delafield weather permitting!
Spread out into 4 classes instead of an all day weekend crash coarse students have time to go home and practice what they learn and come up with new questions.

• MEET LAUREN •
Hi! I’m Lauren Kerwin, the imagination behind the magic at Rose:Life Photography. Born and raised in Waukesha I now reside on the western edge of Lake Country overlooking the Bark River in the small unincorporated town of Rome, WI with my family. I currently spend most of my time, beyond my photography, homeschooling my two older kids and trying to keep my kamikaze toddler from hurting himself.
My passion for Photography goes back to my own childhood but really started to become an obsession around age fifteen. I began by learning film photography in a high school dark room. I spent 5 years working in Sales for both of Southeastern Wisconsin’s local camera specialty stores, Art’s Camera’s Plus & Mike Crivello’s Camera Center. Spending my time learning everything I could about the rising trend at the time called digital photography and passing my knowledge on to the customers. Married young I stopped camera store work when we started expanding our family in 2006.
Two children and a few years later I missed photography being a huge part of my everyday life. I started taking photos for other people, word spread, ideas started coming to me, and photography equipment is not cheap. Rose:Life Photography was created! I continue to educate myself and I am constantly learning new techniques and ideas to improve my art and my business. I spent the first few years doing a little bit of everything but have found that working with children is my absolute favorite and in 2015 I created the brand that Rose:Life is today!
