We are so excited to bring you Metcalfe’s Market is Wauwatosa’s GRAND RE-OPENING! It may not be lake country, but Tosa holds a special place in my heart, and they are still our neighbors, and not a far drive at all!
So what is going on, exactly you ask? Let me tell you…
Why are they have a Grand Re-opening?
We initially opened the Metcalfe’s Wauwatosa in 2003. We’ve just finished a full indoor and outdoor remodel including an outdoor patio for our cafe, tripled the size of our specialty cheese department, doubled the size of the service meat & seafood counters, partnered with Colectivo Coffee for our coffee program, and added a Health & Wellness department.
What is a one day sale?
Each day we’re featuring a different one day only sale including 99¢ Organic Girl Salads (5oz; Save $3; October 27th only), $6.99lb Wild Alaska Sockeye Salmon Fillets (previously frozen; Save $9lb; October 28th only), $14.99lb USDA Choice Whole Steer Tenderloin (Save $15lb; October 29th only), $19.99lb USDA Choice Steer Tenderloin Steaks (Save $10lb; October 29th only).
On October 27th, 2016 there will be a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!
At 4:30pm, we’ll be cutting the ribbon with the Wauwatosa Chamber of Commerce, team members, vendors and other invited guests . There will appetizers, cake and live music to enjoy! (Do not miss out!)
Who doesn’t like samples?
Local vendors will be in-store daily offering samples of their products. Jones Dairy Farm will be at the store from 9am-12pm on Friday, October 28th hosting a cooking school with tasty meal ideas – every hour, on the hour. We’re also offering Halloween Cookie Decorating for the kids (free!) on Saturday, October 29th from 11am-3pm.
Healthy Living Facebook Tour details:
Can’t make it out to see the changes for yourself? On November 1st we’re hosting a Facebook Live at 9:30am with our Integrative Registered Dietitian, Lisa G. This Live will be a healthy living tour of our remodeled store showcasing the many ways that Metcalfe’s can support whatever healthy lifestyle you choose.
