NO added sugar, cream, or dairy!
Ingredients:
4 large very ripe bananas
2 tablespoons organic peanut butter
Directions:
1. Peel very ripe (brown) bananas and cut into slices. Freeze for 1-2 hours on a plate or in a bowl.
2. Place the banana slices in a food processor or a really good blender. Puree banana slices, scraping down the bowl as needed. Puree until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Add the organic peanut butter and puree to combine. Serve immediately for soft-serve ice cream consistency. If you prefer harder ice cream, place bowl in the freezer for a few hours and then serve.
For a twist: Add in chocolate chips, candy, espresso or honey!
Great for the kids! Try baking your favorite peanut butter cookies and put the Healthy Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream in-between two of them and freeze! For a delicious grab and go treat.
