Last year our Summer Camps SOLD OUT in just a matter of two weeks! This year, to respond to the amazing interest in our Summer Ballet Camps, we have FOUR weeks of fun filled ballet camps for your little dancer! You can sign your little one up for one week, two weeks or ALL FOUR! We promise they will want to keep coming back.
Our Summer Ballet Camps are drop-off/week-long (Monday – Friday from 9am – 11:30am) adventures that feature beautiful themes designed for children ages 3 (must be potty trained) to 6 years of age. We also welcome older campers who will be appropriately challenged with the ballet curriculum to suit their age and experience and will also have an opportunity to take on a leadership role in mentoring the littlest campers in our group. Children of all ages benefit from our Summer Ballet camps.
Each morning your little one will be whisked away into a magical world of dance, storytelling, gorgeous musical composures, crafts and more. Drop off is at 9:00am where the campers will enjoy a traditionally structured ballet class with a story (from the featured theme), warm up, center barre work and then endless creative movement activities. After all that dancing, they will sit down to a craft that is selected to compliment the featured theme for that week. After crafting they will enjoy a healthy snack and then explore more of the ballet story through dance, character study and dance games. If weather permits we will take our ballet moves outside and chase bubbles while doing grand jetés in the grass. And the end of the week we will invite the families to come see a small performance that the children will help choreograph, dance in front of a simple backdrop designed by the dancers and (of course) they will design their own costume elements to help tell the story behind their performance!
All in all, our ballet camps are a most magical escape!

We will be featuring the following ballet stories (and themes) this summer: Alice in Wonderland (Session I), The Nutcracker (Christmas in July/Session II), The Firebird (Session III) and then we will be wrapping up camps season with a most cherished theme, Cinderella (Session IV).

In addition to our amazing Summer Ballet Camps, we are offering a 6-Week Dance Education Program between July 11th and August 19th. Our 6-Week Dance program is structured much like our regular Academic Year with weekly classes for all our divisions. The theme for our Summer 6-Week Dance Education Program is The Tales of Beatrix Potter! We are thrilled about this theme as it boasts amazing characters and music.
