Summer has been amazing. It really has. Wisconsin summers are incredible, but they are short. Three months of family, friends, lakes, beaches, pools, cookouts, vacations, s’mores, fireflies + so much more.
The Lake Country Mom wants to celebrate the end of summer! Why not? We are so excited to get our community together at one place to enjoy one another’s company. Lake Country is such a close community….and we love that.
Nixon Park is gorgeous, spacious and a great spot to do so. If you are not familiar with Nixon park, you must go! It has a large park with playground equipment for all ages–the park is home to the Splash Pad (Nixon Park is also home to Waukesha County’s only Splash Pad. The Splash Pad is open Memorial Day weekend through September 30, 10:00am – 9:00pm, seven days a week. View a picture of the splash pad) and Fine Arts Center and also includes a baseball diamond with bleachers and dugouts, four tennis courts, soccer fields, four shelters, restrooms, and play equipment. A pond fed by the Bark River provides hours of fishing enjoyment for everyone. A handicapped accessible pathway winds along the river bank and around the pond. It is a great place to picnic and play.
Nixon Park is also home to The Lake Country Beer Garden. The beer garden, run by the Endter family, owners of Endter’s Sports Grill, will be open from May 28-Sept. 30th, 2019. The have yard games, beer, soda, wine, water, hot dogs, pretzels + more!

There is so much to do in lake country all summer long! What better way to celebrate and end summer with a giant picnic with all of you! Yes! We are all about building a community. By this, we welcome you + your family and/or friends to pack a picnic and join us at Nixon Park on 8.17.19 from 12-3p for mingling, playing, meeting new friends, enjoying the splash pad and also special deals just for us at the Lake Country Beer Garden.
Pop-up stations by:
L.L.Bean will be offering FREE Paracord Survival Bracelet making, giving away coupons, and having a knot tying station available for people to learn and test their skills. We may also have some lawn games available!
DaySpring Preschool & Childcare: will be there with FREE popsicles + more!
Garage Force of Waukesha: will be set up with a FREE game of golf and prizes, and they will be giving away a FREE garage floor via Facebook LIVE! It could be you, visit their page to ENTER TO WIN!
CYCLE BAR Lake Country will be there pop up tent to give out more free CB swag and spread the word about the new studio opening in the Fall!
