The 3nd Annual Vintage Shop Hop

The 3nd Annual Vintage Shop Hop is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 4 & 5, 2016. It’s the mother load of road trips…a self-guided day to any number of the 200 participating shops through northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

We provide the list of participating vintage and antique shops, and you grab your friends and hit the road to shop!

Each year we have 200+ locally owned vintage business owners who take part. They each roll out the red carpet for you by hosting a fun promotion inside their store. It might be anything from chalk paint demonstrations to jewelry making demo or music on site or a parking lot sale. They each run their own promotion and set their own hours. But typically they run normal retail hours–opening at 9 or 10am and closing at 5 or after.

We suggest you take a look at the list, and decide if you want to shop in your own back yard or venture out a little further and make a day or weekend of it. Then, take a few minutes to check out the shops facebook pages, check their hours, and route out your day!

You will find spotlight posts on each and every shop on the hop–with hot links to their pages–and other appropriate posts from the shops themselves. There’s a new interactive Google Map this year! You can click/tap the map locators and see detail information on each shop. That means while you’re out on the road, you can open the map to see what your next shop will be.
