Top Parks to Picnic at in Waukesha County
I just adore living in Wisconsin, in all its beautiful seasons. (Some last a little bit too long.) With my favorite season coming to an end, and another one beginning I want to cherish every moment. Do you ever picnic as a family? You don’t have to do the “picnic basket,” even thought it’s quite awesome. You can just pack bagged lunches, or put food in a big cooler-or even stop at a restaurant for take-out on the way! The purpose of a picnic to me, is quality time with your family in the awe of Wisconsin. I have compiled a list of several Waukesha County parks that are the perfect picnic destinations. These are choices that allow you to enjoy your “lunch” but also to take in the beauty, rolling landscapes, water, and stay to play at their playgrounds, take a walk on a trail, grill out under a pavilion, play volleyball and more! I have talked about many “lake country” parks before-so I thought I would also ensure you are aware of these gems as well!
