The Wisconsin State Fair is almost here! We dug through their website to find all the {free} family fun you can enjoy after entering the fair!

Accessibility
Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located throughout the Park for Fairgoers’ convenience in the Exposition Center, Wisconsin Products Pavilion, corner of Grandstand Avenue and First Street, and at the corner of Central Avenue and Second Street. Specially equipped portable restrooms are available at the Main Stage presented by Potawatomi Bingo Casino and at the U.S. Cellular® Main Gate. A Family Restroom is located in the north lobby of the Exposition Center.
Strolling Street Entertainers
As you stroll through the Fair Park, be sure to keep an eye out for exciting and unique street entertainers. Each performer has a different show, and will change throughout the Fair! Watch for performances by Mango and Dango Theatrical Circus, Vocal Trash, Canines a la Cart, Greg Frisbee, StatueViva, Matt’s Family Jam, Steve Trash, Spin Cycle, Alex Clark, Brant The Fireguy and the World Record Balloon Stunt Show.
Daily Parade
Check out this Fair tradition that kicks off at 3pm daily (2pm on the final Sunday, as part of Miller High Life Veterans and Military Recognition Day). See the Fairest of the Fairs, your favorite street entertainers, mascots, tractors, marching bands and much more! For parade route, please visit any Fair Information Center.
Sea Lion Splash presented by Meijer
Sea Lion Splash, located on South Grandstand Avenue, will have crowds cheering and laughing once again, while also teaching valuable lessons about marine wildlife and conservation. The sea lions will amaze as they balance balls, shoot hoops and even perform handstands! This is the only traveling sea lion show in the U.S. and each 30-minute show will educate the audience while also bringing out the natural comedic nature of these amazing animals.
K-9 Sports Arena
The dog days of summer are coming to the Fair! The K-9 Sports Arena, located in the Big Backyard, features shows and demonstrations hourly on the half-hour on weekdays with additional shows on weekends. See dog dock diving, frisbee, agility courses, Police K-9 units and much more!
We Energies Energy Park
There’s so much to do! We Energies Energy Park features performances and exhibits in a clean, relaxed park setting. Pick up a safety wristband and keep your child safe at State Fair. Learn how to stay safe around electricity and natural gas and how you can become an energy hero. Enjoy delicious cooking and grilling presentations, get horticulture tips and stroll through our amazing gardens. See eagles, hawks, owls and other birds up close and personal. Join us at the race as sun-powered cars zoom down the track. The Energy Park is on the west side of the Fair Park on Wetley Way at Center Street.
Young People’s Art Exhibit
This year’s exhibit features over 360 youth paintings, sculptures and drawings. You’ll be whisked away with the creative talents of today’s youth grades 6 – 12. Check out this display of creativity located in the lobby of the Exposition Center. Kids of all ages can create a free art pieces in the Make It, Take It Art Project Area.
Natural Resources Park
Join us for hands-on experiences with Wisconsin’s natural resources. Explore, touch, play and discover through interactive exhibits. Test your outdoor skills in rod ‘n reel casting and archery. Stop by Smokey’s School House, the kids natural play area and our outdoor camping display, or visit our welcome desk to purchase your fishing and hunting licenses, state parks and trail passes through our new Go Wild system. Green & Growing Garden Walk
Pack your corn dog, cream puff and cool beverage as you start your global garden adventure. Punch your passport at destinations such as We Energies Energy Park, German Prairie, Moroccan Oasis and Tahitian Tropical Retreat. Turn in your completed passport to earn your Garden Walk ribbon and enter a drawing to win a special petal passport prize package. Bon voyage!
Farm & Family Building
Connect with fun in the Farm & Family Building. Race a vegetable car in the Veggie 500, and visit with Alice in Dairyland. Try Cow Pie Pitch, or color a button to take home. Play games to learn more about healthy animals and safe food. Check out tips on how to protect yourself against common consumer scams. Visit each station to receive a special stamp. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection connects with you every day.
Junior Amateur Talent Competition
This exciting competition took place Friday, August 14 at noon at the Activity Stage! Youth and Teens from throughout the state could pre-qualify to compete at the State Fair for the chance to be crowned the champion of the Wisconsin State Fair Junior Amateur Talent Competition.
Youth Expo Hall & Stage
The Youth Expo Hall on Fifth Street and Grandstand Avenue showcases Wisconsin youth through music and drama performances, demonstrations, style revues, activity stations, project exhibits and organizational displays. The stage will feature special performances by 4-H Drama Company, 4-H Showcase Singers and State FFA Honors Band & Chorus.
