Kara Reese Photography is a photography studio located in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin offering personalized, one-on-one service for all kinds of portrait photography (mainly senior portraits, newborn portraits, and weddings). The nearly 1700-square foot space is tucked away in a warehouse located just off of Armour Road, and offers separate dedicated camera rooms for newborn/baby photography and what Kara fondly refers to as “big person photography” (meaning older kids, families, high school seniors and headshots). The studio also hosts a gallery and viewing room, where clients return to the studio 2-3 weeks after their session to view their portraits on a 60″ plasma TV screen and receive guidance on what kinds of prints and products will be best for their families.
Kara invited us to her studio, offering to take photos of our daughter. We arrived and we were greeted with a warm welcome and big smile from Kara! She showed us around her quaint and adorable studio. She had rooms and space for everything, a whole room dedicated to newborn/baby photography. The backdrops were endless, super neat vintage furniture, amazing props and so much more. The studio felt warm and comfortable, it honestly gave me a feeling of happiness. Kara explained to us what she was going to do. She gave us options for backgrounds, she basically let our daughter pick what she liked and made some suggestions! The photo shoot was fun, comfortable and allowed my daughter to express herself. We had our photos within just days! We are SO IN LOVE with them.
